Where to Look for a New Physician Assistant Jobs

With states slowly opening up after the COVID-19 lockdown, businesses are starting to hire again. As with all industries, healthcare was no different; many PAs were furloughed and their positions were saved for them, but others were laid off and are now looking for work.

Many patients put off “unnecessary” treatments and procedures in fear of going to the doctor and contracting Covid-19. With the delay in treatment, many of these issues now need to be addressed. As states reopen and patients are more comfortable to be seen, they are not wanting to delay treatments. Organizations are going to be forced to find ways to treat the back-log in patients, and using PAs can be a solution for them.

If you are on the job search, there are many places you can look for a PA job. A great place to start is with your state PA society, as many of them have job boards available that show positions in your state.

Another great place to look for a new job is on LinkedIn. As the saying goes, “it’s not what you know, but who you know”. Networking can be a great way to find out about open positions. Connecting with the right people can help you land your next job.

Once you have checked out those sites, make sure to get set up on your favorite job board or job search website. ZipRecruiter is a useful tool to find a physician assistant job.
