2020 PA School Scholarships

Scholarships for PA Students

recent report by the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) showed that the median student loan for graduates was $100,000. Although the majority of PA school students use student loans to pay for their education there are other ways to pay. There are scholarships available that will help ease the financial burden of PA school, but most won’t cover the full amount.

If you have some extra time on your hands, now is the time to prepare scholarship applications. Most scholarship applications open in the spring and many of the deadlines are in May or June.

Summary of PA School Scholarships

The options might be limited, but there are a few opportunities to receive scholarships for your PA education. It by no means is going to cover the cost of PA school but can help ease the burden. If scholarships are not the answer for you, look for other opportunities to have your school paid, such as joining a military service or committing to working in an underserved area.
