PA Salary Surveys Agree on One Thing

2019 PA Salary Reports Show Increase in PA Salaries from Previous Year

With multiple PA salary reports out, it is often hard to know which one is the best. Each has pros and cons. One thing that they all agree on is that PA salaries have been increasing each year.

Each PA salary report differs on how the information is gathered, which can lead to different amounts for annual salaries that are reported. From several reports this past year, the highest average PA salary was $115,881. However, this report had one of the lowest response rates.

The AAPA ($107,500) and NCCPA ($110,567) reports tend to be good resources for PA salaries, but they each have their limitations.

Most reports are generally in the same range and minor differences in reported salaries can be due to how the data is gathered. As we look at the data from one year to the next one thing that is common among all reports is that PA salaries are increasing.
